Let’s pray this prayer together
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all you have given me in this life. The breath in my lungs. The people in my life. Help me remember how finite life is and to be grateful for all the small things I look forward to every day. Bless me with wisdom to understand the truth.
Today, I command this shackle of being glued to social media and feeling envious to be broken.
In Jesus Name I pray.
Amen.
Why Jesus? 2,000 years ago, our God sent His Son, Jesus to die on the cross, to wash away all of human sin. Because of this sacrifice, we get to experience God in incredible ways when we live on Earth and afterwards.
What is a prayer? A prayer is not a set of magical words. It is our heart’s honest expression of how deeply we need God. One of the most incredible experiences while on Earth is moving in God’s strength instead of our own human understanding. We encourage you to grow your practice of prayer and put your trust in Jesus to break our mental shackles.
